the Performance
Classical Ballet Multimedia was founded in Kyiv in 2012 with a simple belief: timeless masterpieces should inspire every new generation without ever losing their original beauty. Today, we are an international touring ballet company presenting world-class classical ballet productions across Europe. Our repertoire includes Swan Lake and The Nutcracker, performed by internationally acclaimed principal dancers as part of our European tour.
We believe the classical repertoire does not need to be reinvented. Our mission is to help contemporary audiences experience these masterpieces more deeply while preserving every note, every movement, and every artistic intention. To achieve this, we created an original multimedia ballet language developed exclusively for the classical stage. Every animation, cinematic sequence, and visual scene is designed specifically for each production, then refined through months of rehearsals until every element is perfectly synchronized with the choreography, music, and dramatic rhythm of the performance.
Unlike traditional stage projections, our multimedia is performed live. During every performance, a dedicated Motion Designer manually controls the visual world in real time, transforming multimedia into an active part of the storytelling rather than a simple backdrop.
The classics are timeless. What changes is the audience.
Today's generation has grown up with cinema, digital media, and visual storytelling. Instead of changing the classics, we created a new artistic language that helps audiences connect more naturally with the story while remaining completely faithful to the original masterpiece.
We do not modernise the classics—we create a deeper way to experience them. Because the future of classical ballet is not found in changing its heritage, but in inspiring new generations to fall in love with it.
